What draws me to engineering isn't just shipping features — it's the moment a system breaks and I get to figure out why. I build by decomposing big problems into small, testable pieces, and I don't move on until I understand why something works. That loop is the job, and it's the part I enjoy most.
Hi, I'm Hankyul - a Computer Engineering student at UBC.
I enjoy building things that makes my life more convenient. applying what I've learned both in and outside the classroom. This portfolio showcases the projects I've worked on academically and personally, and the things I'm learning along the way.
Outside of class, I serve on my church's worship team, take on various volunteer roles, such as run a STEM class with youth. These experiences keep me grounded in community and have taught me a lot about leadership and teamwork through actually working with people.
